Combat Tracker Team Photo



	This is the 61st IPCT Headquarters. Note the refrigerator on the "porch" - there was a contest where the one with the most refrigerators that didn't work on the porch was the winner!! The walkway was constructed because the home of the 61st IPCT was located in a swamp! 61st IPCT photo taken at DiAn, with the 1st Inf. Div.

	Don assures us that this is NOT a latrine burning - but a Fire Mission in a local "friendly" village! The photo was taken during Tet 1968 by Don who was the CO of the 61st IPCT attached to the 1st Inf. Div. at DiAn.

	61st IPCT Super Tracker Dog, Joey who is waiting patiently for his dinner. Don writes, "What will it be? 'Prime with Worms' or, preferably, Gainesburgers!" Joey was Tim Gress's Tracker Dog. Taken at DiAn - home of the 61st IPCT with the 1st Inf. Div.

	Here is Bruce (6B45) who was John Wilde's dog. This was taken before the kennels were built at DiAn.

	This is John Wilde-61st IPCT's counterpart for M.A.S.H.'s character Klinger! John is sporting his newly captured NVA AK47 and NVA hat. The shower towel sarong is for effect, because it looked cute!! Taken at the "Swamp" at DiAn, with the 1st Inf. Div.

	This photo is showing Jack O'Bannon with Lt. Don Hendricks in deep discussion about Y2K just prior to departing on a mission in Lai Thieu. Don, these are all great photos and really let us know about 61st IPCT with you as their CO. Job well done! Below is from Ed Wheeler.
