This page was sent in by Tom Verhelle of 76th IPCT attached to the 199th
L.I.B. This first photo is of Edward Erlin Cox, Jr. who was KIA. Tom writes,
"This photo of Edward Erlin Cox, Jr. was taken a few days before he was killed.
He was Rigger's Handler when I first arrived at the 76th CTT. It was on one
of my first missions and I was tracking when we came upon a small base camp. Cox
gave me Rigger to hold while he covered Bill Stockell when he tripped a Booby Trap.
Cox died instantly and Stockell's arm was broken and had injured his leg as well. I
always felt that Cox saved my life that dreadful day." |

Shane is shown here playing "Catch the Hat for the Candy
Striper"....other members of the 76th IPCT must have wanted to play, too, but the
Labs always won the affections of everyone! |

Richard Dixon "on the job". Thanks, guys, and we're so glad you got
