These photos and captions were sent in by George Wade -
"Halotracker". He served with the 557th IPCT - attached to the 101st
Airborne during 1968-1969. This was looking north over the orderly room. The tent to the right is where the team lived. Behind the orderly room was the 52nd Scout Dog Platoon and in the distance you can see some Ch-47s, that was in the area of the Division POL point. |

A little house repair detail. Sgt. D and SSG Frank A. Hanson, can only see the face of the third person.
Sgt. Hahn, kneeling, and I may be wrong but perhaps Smit standing. This was referred to as taking the Jeep to the car wash. It was the best in town.
Me and Mackey in the kennel area.
Here comes the ride. To this day every time I hear a Helo (UH1D) I feel like it's time to grab my gear.
Sgt. D and Sgt. Frank Hanson outside the Orderly Room. If I recall correctly SSG Frank Hanson was saying to Sgt. D, "you tell me what time it is and I'll tell you here your head gear is...."
OK who can name it? Sally or Evans? Who will answer the question of the day?
