The photos on this page are from the National Archives.
They were found by Lance Jones, Photo Editor for Vietnam Magazine. Thanks to Lance for
sending them. They were taken at USARV Dog Training Detachment (DTD) in Bein Hoa by SP4 Franklin Nickerson III on the 26-28 Oct 1968. The DTD was responsible for all in-country canine training. Shepherds are shown, but we're certain Trackers will recognize the location. To the left "Sgt E. Fuller demonstrates a command for PFC Reginald Roles CTT 4th ID" Many of these photos are captioned with "CTT". Accuracy of that designation should be questioned. But, the Army is never wrong..... |
