The next three photos were sent by Mike Seniuk - 63rd IPCT
with the Americal in 1968. He and some of his Team are back together and we're
looking forward to seeing them - AND ALL OF YOU! - in June 2000. This is Mike outside
the Team hooch in Chu Lai "sometime in 1968". |

The TEAM: from L to R: Lawrence Eustis, Pvt. The (former NVA), Mike
Seniuk, Phil Hooks, and A. D. Sims (later KIA with the Americal AeroRifle Platoon in
1968). |

Here's Mike with Phil Hook's Lab, Ince. Mike said that they
sometimes wore black fatigues to confuse the enemy. (Historical note: The Teams
wore a variety of different "uniforms" and headgear. Some of them had
experienced problems with evasion when with an infantry support group - and didn't wear
anything that could be misconstrued as enemy uniforms. It seems later Teams wore
more official uniforms. We'll have more on this as we go forward! - Sue) |
