The photos on this page are from Cindy

the 61st IPCT attached to the 1st Infantry in 1967. Thanks to Cindy's cousin
Pamela Norsigian for e-mailing the images.
Cindy
says, "I am looking for any pictures or information regarding my
late father. His name is Leonard (Frenchy) Giguere, he To the left is PFC Giguere behind the wheel.

A moment of reflection. |

Frenchy guarding the kennel. Does anyone
know the name of canine 6B50 From Ed Wheeler: "....wonder who that could be? I know Sam was 5A84, but maybe one of the other tattoos was wrong? Or MAYBE.....Frenchy was freelancing for some other tracker team????" |
|
Frenchy in the bunker. Another example of those culvert halves at work.
Here's Frenchy with the unit mascot. And
in the background is...? Ed Wheeler believes that's SSG ESPADA LUIS ROSELLO with Frenchy. |
|
Good times and a laugh. Unidentified to
the left. Ed Wheeler believes that's SSG ESPADA LUIS ROSELLO with Frenchy. |
|
This is Sam looking a little dejected. Ed Wheeler says, "that is Joey and not Sam. Sam was a bigger dog with no grey on the muzzle." |
|
Time to initiate Lt. Sal Canchola. To the
left is Frenchy. I believe that's Wilde in the center and the others are
unidentified. From Ed Wheeler: "the bare-chested young redhead, is none other than Johnny Reed." |

A good wallow in the mud - priceless!
