Esther Enders addresses the group and
presents a check from the Enders family in Doug's name. Their generosity is
most appreciated as is their permission to let us render Doug full Military
Honors. Sergeant Major, Retired, Chuck Steward prepares to express gratitude
on behalf of the Tracker family.

Another spectacular Combat Tracker quilt made by Yvonne
Auer, artist par excellence. This years winning bid was by Kathleen Myers
who then presented the quilt to Esther Enders. Shown are Kathleen, Esther and
Yvonne with quilt holders Steve Cradick and Bill Reed (hidden).

Chuck Steward had a commemorative coin
struck in Doug's honor, the obverse is the Tracker Indian emblem. The coins
were given to the Enders family and close friends. Everyone was happy except
for a neice who did not receive a coin. There was one coin left and it was
auctioned. Tracker Steve Cradick was the winning bidder and then gave the
coin to Doug's neice. There's happiness in Rapid City thanks to Steve. |
