This page comes from Jonell Burgett-Kelly, daughter of Joe Burgett (1948-2006). Joe served
with DTD (Dog Training Detachment) in 1967-68. He attended JWS in 1967.
In the photos Jonell sent Joe is pictured with German Shepherds (we assume
these are Scout Dogs). So, a questions is: where was Joe trained as a Scout
Dog handler? Some photos are identified as units other than DTD. Was Joe TDY
or assigned to other units? Can you help Jonell with answers?
