"Dennis Arthur Beuke was born on July 21, 1946. He enlisted in 1965 and graduated from Fort Knox where he trained to be a "Firecrew Member" with the Nike Hercules Missle Operations program and was then stationed in Danvers MA. for duty. Late in 1966 his second request for transfer to Vietnam was finally granted. He became a Combat Tracker after Graduating the BJWS early 1967 and served with CTT #8 proudly until October 11th, 1967 when he and Elmer W. Mahurin were killed in combat together. For Dennis's service and dedication he was awarded the following medals: Bronze star "V", Purple Heart, Air Medal, National Defense, Vietnam Service and Vietnam Campaign.
